Job Description:
Under limited supervision, develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and services.

Selects the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations. Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements. Insures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. Sets account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis. Generally develops business with key or named accounts and may lead dedicated account teams. May coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives.

Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent. Requires at least 5 years sales experience including substantial industry-specific sales experience.

Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective at written and verbal communication. Requires substantial industry and product knowledge. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement a sales plan for the territory sufficient to achieve sales goals and acquisition targets.  Develop relationships with the customer base to ensure achievement of sales volume, gross profit and margin targets. Individual will also perform the following duties: provide customer service to ensure understanding of the complete and full range of Lennox products and services; deliver a high level of customer service to existing accounts, identify changing trends in the marketplace; provide sales presentations as well as customer training to ensure attainment of the annual sales, gross profit and margin goals. You will also be responsible for providing excellent product, technical and marketing services to our Dealers as well as developing new business within an assigned area.  Work with inside sales personnel to maximize job performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred with at least 3 years HVAC sales experience. Candidate must have the ability to represent Lennox Industries to the customer base to produce an outcome of achieving the sales goals of the company. Individual must have the ability to work with little direct supervision while at the same time act and function as a member of the overall sales team. Individual must have computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Windows, and PowerPoint).  Superior oral and written communications, technical ability and a valid driver’s license are essential.
