Requirements
 
The general role responsibilities of a Dispatcher are as follows:
 
Demand Service and Policy Customers:

  • Review next day’s unassigned tickets to create the most efficient routes and assign to the appropriate technicians.
  • Call all customers to confirm appointments.
  • Manage technicians daily routes to include geographic efficiency while maintaining customer contact to ensure a high degree of productivity while delivering excellent customer service
  • Prebrief prior to and debrief each technician after completion of individual tickets
  • Update and manage interactive web scheduling utility to maximize available customer appointments per day. 
  • Review any “On Hold” tickets to determine if they are ready to be dispatched.
  • Answer inbound customer inquiry calls with the ability to remain pleasant and positive in high stress environment.
  • Requires the ability to accept empowerment and be prepared to make decisions regarding customer satisfaction with confidence
Minimum requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic typing skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience using the STARS system helpful
