|Under limited supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) client/server applications. Regularly provides guidance and training to less-experienced programmers.
Works with management, consultants, developers, and users to compile and prioritize enhancements and defect resolutions to applications and interfaces. Responsible for software integration, external interface development and technical documentation. Designs and builds changes, extensions and enhancements to existing ERP application programs and reports. Designs and develops all aspects of data conversion. May code individual modules and complex functions. Develops and builds application tables, panels, and reports for projects. Reviews and debugs existing customizations and reports as necessary. Troubleshoots and resolves testing issues. Works on elements of large and complex installations, performs all aspects of programming assignments, and assists with systems design. Conducts functional design and testing for new projects. Supports data migration, data conversion, data loading, and performance improvement. Has system-wide responsibility on complex projects and components. Provides direction to team members and is a key contributor. May solve highly technical complex problems and be called on to consult for other projects. Assists with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills. Viewed as a Subject Matter Expert within the organization. Provides coaching to junior-level employees.
Bachelors degree or equivalent. Requires at least 5 years ERP programming activities in a business environment
Requires extensive knowledge of ERP applications and software standards and conventions. Must be expert at testing and debugging procedures. Must be able to resolve complex mismatches between user requirements and current application functionality. Requires excellent written and verbal communication. Must be able to lead team projects.
· The ideal candidate should have experience designing, coding, testing, documenting and maintaining complex Java-based applications.
· Collaborate with Business Users to design and create new and enhance existing business critical IPC 7.0 web applications.
· Help further define development standards and best practices for application design.
Required Experience, Skills & Education-
· Experience in SAP’s Internet Pricing and Configuration (IPC), SAP’s Variant Configurator (VC) and Microsoft SQL is strongly desired.
· & lt; /span>Should have experience working on SAP’s Java Development Environment (Net Weaver) or Eclipse.
· & lt; /span>Should be very comfortable with Object Oriented concepts.
· Should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Ajax and ABAP skills are a plus.
· BS Degree. At least three years experience, but 5-8 years preferred.
