Job Description:
Under general supervision, responsible for generating total Lennox system specifications by developing a consultative relationship with specifying engineers and a limited group of select design - build commercial contractors.

Calls on engineers and selected design build contractors to obtain Lennox total system specifications. Provides a high level application and system selection support. Assists consulting engineers and selected design-build (D-B) contractors to understand the full range of existing and future products and services. Conducts product introduction meetings and product training. Conducts product introduction meetings and product training. Communicates Federal, State and Local code compliance requirements and ASHRAE design guidelines. Provides early identification of changing customer and market area requirements identifying trends, opportunities and threats to LII business. Establishes and nurtures a viable partnership with the existing engineering and contractor base.

Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Requires at least 2-3 years sales or engineering experience including industry-specific experience.

Ability to communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering community to drive total Lennox system specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication , presentation and training skills. Sales oriented and team focused. Must have Strong industry and product knowledge. Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management Software.
