This is an internship position - Please DO NOT post to this
position unless you are currently enrolled in an
undergraduate/graduate program at a local DFW
college.   

 

The primary function of this position is to record, audit, and
track freight invoices for accuracy and adjust payments to carriers
as required. 

 

Responsibilities:


  • Record, track, and process invoices for payment

  • Audit invoices to ensure rate accuracy

  • Assist in research and resolution of discrepant invoices and
    past due billings as required

  • Take corrective action with carriers to prevent repetitive
    billing problems and improve initial billing accuracy

  • Audit/analyze rates from carriers

  • Update statistical reports related to invoicing

  • Database management

  • Generating/analyzing reports of transportation activities

  • Assist International Logistics team as needed


 

Requirements:


  • Supply Chain/Logistics undergraduate/graduate program a plus

  • Interest in International Logistics

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to work 4-5 hours 5 days a week up to 20 hours
